Update: I took the offer! My Amex Platinum renewal date is next week. I definitely want to keep the card. The retention offer I received is a $300 statement credit with 2K spend or 30,000 MR points. I would take the points no doubt of course. I'm wondering if I should hold out for a better offer or take it? (Don't judge me for being greedy).
