Bose cd player problems

Bose Wave CD/Radio Model AWRC-1G. Bose is notorious for making their products not easily fixable and then charging big bucks for doing the fix themselves. Would much appreciate anyone having experience with the Wave Radio/CD player model AWRC-1G service manual or parts manual letting me know where they may be found. Thanks in advance.
