Dasher wont let me log in

New Motorola MG7700 can't login. Every time I attempt to log into my router, I type in the generic username/password. However after I spell out motorola as the password the computer automatically adds 3 characters and then locks me out for 5 min. I've been dealing with this for an hour and on hold with Motorola.
