Handguns manufactured after 1985 can only be sold in Maryland if the Handgun Roster Board has specifically approved them for sale and placed them on the Official Handgun Roster. Therefore, the fact that a handgun does not appear on this list of disapproved guns does not automatically mean that it is an approved gun.
