Universal split screen

Hi, I set up Universal Split Screen to play Terraria as indicated on their website and youtube video and it works. We are using 2 xbox controllers. We can control our character fine except while in inventory. When one player is in their inventory, imput from the other player gets mixed up with the player using their inventory.
